ReplyDeleteWhen I had Emery, I had a pretty mani and a fresh pedi done. Actually, my good friend (who happened to be my delivery nurse) gave me my pedicure that night. I used to be an OB tech and she had asked that I come up and visit so I did. I had been on bed rest and needed to get out of the house. As she was giving me my pedi I could feel small contractions the whole time, but didn't think anything of it. While doing my pedi she drew blood and I joked that she might just put me into labor if she draws any more blood.
I visited for a while longer and then went home. Then like 4 hours later at 2:30am my water broke. haha. She totally caused my labor to start, but at least my toes and my hands looked good during that special day. haha.

I have to admit that my toes don't look quite AS fabulous.. Due to the fact that I could barely reach them.. They are totally covered in glitter and the polish is literally everywhere, haha! I am going to have to scrub them like crazy in the tub :)
